Job summary

Biological E Limited in Hyderabad is seeking a PhD scientist with 1-3 years of research experience in nanoparticulate formulations for gene delivery. The role requires deep mRNA field knowledge, ionisable lipid screening, and potential CMC/regulatory exposure.

Responsibilities include literature mining, tool design for formulation evaluation, DOE execution, and rigorous data management, with emphasis on timely procurement and lab inventory control.

Qualifications

• PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences or related discipline with 1-3 years research experience in the field.
• Hands-on experience with nanoparticulate formulations (lipid, polymer/peptide) for gene delivery is required.
• Strong knowledge of the mRNA field for vaccine and CGT applications is highly desirable.
• Deep understanding of ionisable lipid structures and lipid screening as per the application.
• Background in CMC development and regulatory submission is preferred.

Job Description:

This role requires hands-on experience working with nanoparticulate formulations (Lipid, polymer/peptide) for gene delivery. Strong knowledge and awareness of current standings of the mRNA field for vaccine and CGT applications is highly desirable. Deep understanding of ionisable lipid structures and lipid screening as per the application. The preferred candidate would have CMC development and regulatory submission experience background. Job Responsibilities:

• Extensive literature data mining (including patents) for screening and evaluation of various formulations for the gene delivery.
• Designing and validation of various tools for the evaluation of new formulation candidates for vaccine and therapeutic applications.
• Independently design and execute DOE for formulation development; including the preformulating studies.
• Strong data handling skills; management, compilation and interpretation.
• Efficient Documentation: organise, compile and present the data for concurrent review and discussion.
• Routine lab management, and inventory maintenance to ensure timely availability of the raw materials and consumables for the smooth progression of the projects.
