Job summary

Panaceabiotec, Lalru R&D, seeks a Senior Scientist in vaccine formulation analytics. You will develop and validate assays for vaccine characterization, manage technology transfer, and ensure compliance with GLP standards across cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities include coordinating with formulation, QC, QA, and regulatory affairs to meet project timelines and prepare regulatory documentation for submissions.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in the development of assays for vaccine characterization, release and stability testing.
• In-depth knowledge of biochemical, immunochemical, cell-based, and chromatography-based analytical methods.
• Strong scientific and technical skills to analyze results and troubleshoot assays.

Responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate new products/technologies/analytical methods aligned with company goals.
• Develop, optimize and validate analytical methods for vaccine products for regulated, WHO and domestic markets.
• Coordinate with Formulation, Material Management, Quality Control, QA, and Regulatory Affairs to meet timelines.
• Prepare and review documents for technology transfer and regulatory filing such as development reports and SOPs.

Reporting to : Senior General Manager-Vaccine FormulationResearch

Nature of Position : Permanent

Number of Positions : One

Educational Qualification : Phd/M.Sc.Ph.D. in Biotechnology / Biochemistry / Life Sciences from a reputed institute

• 1. Identify, propose and evaluatepotential new products/technologies/analytical methodologies that align withthe company's vision and goals.
• 2. Develop, optimize and validateanalytical methods for new and existing vaccine products to meet therequirements of Regulated, WHO, and Domestic markets.
• 3. Ensure successful technologytransfer and demonstration of analytical methods to Quality Control teams atmanufacturing sites.
• 4. Co-ordinate withcross-functional teams including Formulation, Material Management, QualityControl, Quality Assurance, and Regulatory Affairs to achieve projecttimelines.
• 5. Responsible for preparationand review of documents for technology transfer and regulatory filing such asdevelopment report, analytical method validation report/ protocol, SOPs, STPs
• 6. Perform and ensure allexperimental procedures are conducted in compliance with Good LaboratoryPractices (GLP) guidelines ensuring regular documentation.
• 7. Ensure timely preparation,review, and submission of analytical test reports for product release,maintaining data traceability and authenticity.
• 8. Undertake analytical testingand allocate routine and stability samples to analysts for timely completion oftesting activities.
• 9. Maintain records of reagents,raw materials, and consumables required for various projects and initiateprocurement requests to ensure smooth lab operations.
• 10. Ensure upkeep, calibration, and preventive maintenanceof laboratory instruments.
• 11. Prepare and report progress of assigned projects tosuperiors.
• 12. Undertake any other project-related responsibilitiesor tasks assigned by reporting managers.

Skill Requirements

• 1. Must have demonstratedexperience in the development of assays for Vaccine characterization, releaseand stability testing.
• 2. In-depth knowledge andunderstanding of biochemical, immunochemical, cell-based, andchromatography-based analytical methods and possess strong scientific &technical skills.
• 3. Thoroughly analyze results andmethods, solve analytical problems, and troubleshoot assays.
• 4. Understanding and practicalknowledge of GLPs as applied to analytical requirements.
• 5. Strong interpersonal skills;ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in written formats.
• 6. Self-starter; ability to workin a fast-paced, cross-functional environment and collaborate effectively withother team members.
