Job summary

Nat Habit is seeking an in-house legal counsel to manage day-to-day legal, contractual, dispute resolution, labour and compliance requirements. You will review, draft and negotiate vendor, supplier, service, purchase, rental, marketing and influencer agreements, and identify key risks such as liability, indemnity, payment terms and delivery commitments.

Qualifications

• LLB (Pref enrollment with Bar Council).
• 4+ years of industry experience.
• Experience in in-house legal work, commercial contracts, consumer laws.
• Super organized & good communications.

Responsibilities

• Review, draft, and negotiate vendor, supplier, service, purchase, rental, marketing and influencer agreements.
• Identify key commercial and legal risks including liability, indemnity, payment terms, quality and delivery commitments.
• Handle disputes with vendors, suppliers, contractors and service providers; draft legal notices and respond to notices.
• Manage and coordinate responses to complaints or notices from regulators, industry bodies or consumers.
• Support HR & Factory teams on employment and labour related legal matters; manage IP filings and liaison with external lawyers.

What will you be doing:

• Commercial Contracts

• a. Review, draft, negotiate vendor, supplier, service, purchase, rental, marketing, influencer and other agreements


• b. Identify key commercial and legal risks including liability, indemnity, payment terms, quality and delivery commitments etc.


• 2. Handle disputes with vendors, suppliers, contractors and service providers


• a. Draft legal notices, respond to vendor notices, initiate legal proceedings, recover advances or amounts due


• 3. Manage and coordinate responses to complaints or notices received from consumers, regulators, industry bodies or other organizations.


• 4. Support HR & Factory teams on employment and labour related legal matters.


• 6. Manage relationships with external lawyer and law firms for preparing case briefs, supporting documents, review drafts, track hearing dates and case developments


• 7. Manage IP related filings and compliances

Skill sets

Work Days: Monday - Saturday (Second/Fourth Saturday's are holidays)
