Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in renewable energy land/ROW roles.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in land acquisition, leasing, ROW, or similar land-related roles.
• Prior experience in Gujarat is mandatory.
• Fluency in local language is required; additional regional language proficiency is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate land acquisition and leasing for wind, solar, and BESS projects with developers and aggregators.
• Negotiate and finalize land lease, sale, and wind mast leasing agreements with landowners.
• Conduct land surveys, site visits, and location verification, including infrastructure and access assessment.
• Perform land due diligence including title verification and encumbrance checks.
• Ensure timely land-related approvals are secured directly or via aggregators.
• Handle ROW/RoU issues for access roads, transmission lines, and project infrastructure.
• Liaise with Revenue Department and authorities for land conversions, mutations, registrations, and clearances.
• Support project teams in resolving land and ROW challenges at site and regional levels.
• Manage land-related activities from concept to commissioning for new projects; hand over lands to OMS.
• Maintain land records, documentation, and data repositories; ensure regulatory compliance.
