Job summary

NCDEX in Delhi seeks a professional to manage all India Investor Service Centre functions under SEBI directives, covering investor grievance handling, conciliation and arbitration matters, and leading Investor Awareness Programmes (IAP) nationwide.

The role includes drafting process documents, advising on legal issues related to investor grievances, and ensuring timely resolution while upholding regulatory policies and SEBI timelines.

Responsibilities

• Draft process documents in line with Exchange objectives and regulatory sanctions.
• Provide views on legal issues related to investor grievances and arbitration.
• Monitor and implement arbitration and investor grievance policies to protect the company's and investors' interests.
• Resolve investor grievances within SEBI turnaround times.
• Complete conciliation matters within SEBI timelines.
• Complete arbitration matters within SEBI timelines.

Job description

Job Purpose

• To handle all India Investor Service Centre functions as per SEBI directives which include, Investor Grievance handling, Conciliation & Arbitration matters handling,
• Handling claims of defaulter Member
• ISC team members conduct Investor Awareness Programme(IAP) as faculty

Key Accountabilities

1. To draft process documents in keeping with the Exchange business objectives as well as Regulatory sanctions in place.
2. To give views in legal issues pertaining to investor grievances and arbitration.
3. To implement and monitor the companys arbitration and investor grievance policies and procedures to assure that there are adequate controls to protect the companys interests and interest of investors.
4. To effectively resolve investor grievance as per the turnaround time prescribed by SEBI
5. To effectively complete Conciliation matter as per the turnaround time prescribed by SEBI
6. To effectively complete Arbitration matters as per the turnaround time prescribed by SEBI.
7. To work with and assist the SEBI in drafting of any processes or governing commodity markets.
8. To Conduct Investor Awareness Programme (IAP) work of entire India though SMARTS and RISA
9. Processes/work relating to defaulter Member.
