Job summary

Data Security Council of India (DSCI) invites a senior cyber security professional to lead industry initiatives in GCC, Semiconductor and Automotive sectors from Bengaluru. You will act as a Trusted Advisor, shaping partnerships with clients through products, solutions, services and innovative practices, and driving thought leadership through tailored roadmaps.

You will create forums and events, engage with stakeholders, network with leaders, and translate complex client challenges into concrete

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering (CS/Electronics) or MBA with 6–8 years in cyber security.
• Specialist know-how in cyber security.
• Ability to connect with senior industry leaders.
• Deep understanding of security market and emerging tech.
• Proven success in presales or consulting in cyber security.
• Strong communication, entrepreneurial spirit and result orientation.

Role & responsibilities

• Lead DSCI initiatives for GCC, Semiconductor and Automotive industry segments.
• Building a trusted relationship with clients as a Trusted Advisor for Cyber Security from the perspective of products, solutions, services, practices and innovation.
• Thought leadership through content development of customer-specific cyber security roadmaps.
• Create forums, events, communities, initiatives to engage with stakeholder in cyber security industry.
• Effective Networking with industry leaders and drive consultative discussions
• Mapping opportunities in the ongoing developments, making plan, and actively engage for realizing the plans.
• Identifying and analyzing industry challenges and specific technical and business requirements; Translating requirements and proposed solutions into concrete service offerings of DSCI.

Qualifications

• University education (Bachelor of Engineering preferably CS/ Electronics, MBA) with 6 to 8 years of professional experience in the field of cyber security.
• Specialist know-how in the field of cyber security.
• Connect with senior leaders in the industry, government and innovation ecosystem
• Deeper comprehension of security technology market, architectures, and emerging technology solutions
• Proven success in presales and/or consulting in the area of cyber security.
• Experience in Value-Selling Methodology, Consultative Conversations and Ability to comprehend and aggregate client challenges.
• High customer orientation, entrepreneurial spirit, intuition, communication and team skills, high result and quality orientation.
• Independent, self-reliant, structured way of working.
• Strong industry experience with excellent network.
