Job summary

Worley is seeking a Manager I, HSE in Vadodara, India to lead HSE activities on construction projects, shaping safety policies and ensuring regulatory compliance.

You will partner with project teams to implement Field HSE specifications, review safety plans, and drive near-miss reporting and incident investigations while upholding local regulations. This is a senior, site-based HSE role with a focus on safety leadership.

Qualifications

• BE/ B.Tech./ BSc (P, C, M)/ Diploma in engineering with Diploma in Industrial Safety from recognized university.
• Examination of such course should have been conducted by Technical Education Board EB of respective state or approved university.
• Must have more than 15 years of experience for BE/ B. Tech and 18 years for BSc./Diploma engineers in managing HSE activities in construction industries

Responsibilities

• Develop and ensure implementation of Field HSE Specification, our HSSE Policy.
• Liaison with client and contractors, conducting meetings, Ensure legal compliance & implementation of ISO 45001 compliance.
• Review of HSEP, ERP, JHA & method statement.
• Encourage Near Miss & Hazard Reporting, Participation in Incident Investigation & Incident review process.
• Identifyand encourage innovative HSE practices.
• Risk inputs during risk workshop.
• HSE Reporting.
• Visit work locations and sites to assess the HSE risk and effectiveness of HSE systems in place.
• Thorough knowledge of local OHS laws and ability to pragmatically apply this knowledge in home office and construction sites.
• Extent of Guidance or Control: To guide site team to ensure compliance of HSEMS & contract requirements.
• Impact of Decisions on Results: To provide cost effective solution for siteimplementation.

The Role

As a Manager I, HSE with Worley, you will work closely with our existing team to deliver projects for our clients while continuing to develop your skills and experience etc

This includes conducting regular HSE Observations, HSE talks, training sessions, implementation of HSE measures, promotion of safe work practices and ensuring interest & awareness of HSE ismaintainedat all levels.
• Thorough knowledge of local OHS laws and ability to pragmatically apply this knowledge in home office and construction sites.
• Extent of Guidance or Control: To guide site team to ensure compliance of HSEMS & contract requirements.
• Impact of Decisions on Results: To provide cost effective solution for siteimplementation.
• Position Significance Relative to Total Organization: Site based HSE position.

About You
To be considered for this role it is envisaged you will possess the following attributes:

• B.E./ B.Tech./ BSc (P, C, M)/ Diploma in engineering from recognized Institute and Diploma in Industrial Safety from recognized university. Examination of such course should have been conducted by Technical Education Board EB of respective state or approved university.
• Must have more than 15 years of experience for BE/ B. Tech and 18 years for BSc./Diploma engineers in managing HSE activities in construction industries
