Qualifications

  • Graduate Engineers with minimum 25 years of experience and should have handled one project as Construction Manager Oil & Gas or Chemicals Sector.
  • Knowledge of safe methods of execution of construction activities and experience in driving HSE compliances.
  • Sound knowledge of construction quality management, planning and progress monitoring.
  • Proficient in MS Office.
  • Leadership and teamwork abilities.
  • Adaptable with a learning mindset and integrity.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the Construction Management team to discharge contractual responsibilities during construction phase.
  • Represent Worley in meetings with stakeholders.
  • Direct and control activities of staff to comply with project requirements.
  • Ensure implementation of the HSE plan and lead incident-free efforts.
  • Implement construction management processes and ensure quality standards.
  • Review contractor programmes, construction schedules, manpower and equipment usage.
  • Advise and assist contractors in work methods.
  • Ensure timely submission of reports (HSE, Quality, Progress).
  • Resolve construction phase issues promptly and drive corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with company construction methods, procedures and QA; report deficiencies with solutions.

  • Represent Worley in meetings with stakeholders.
  • Direct and control the activities of the assigned staff/employees and their functions to comply with the project requirement.
  • Ensure implementation of the HSE plan and lead incident free efforts.
  • Implement the construction management processes and ensure compliance of quality standards.
  • Review the various contractor’s programmes to accomplish the work, including the construction schedules, manpower and equipment usage.
  • Advise and assist Contractors in work methods.
  • Ensure submission at the prescribed dates of the required reports (HSE, Quality and Progress).
  • Ensure timely resolution of issues during the construction phase and monitor corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with company’s construction methods, procedures, and practices in all respects, particularly those relating to Quality Assurance, Safety, Personnel & Industrial Relations; where these are found to be
  • inadequate immediately report the deficiencies and suggest solution.
The Role

As a Senior Manager, Site Construction with Worley, you will work closely with our existing team to deliver projects for our clients while continuing to develop your skills and experience etc

Additional Information
  • Own the company budget for delivering the construction phase of the project. Monitor the budget versus expenditure statement periodically and ensure necessary actions to remain within the allocated budget.
  • Manage interface between various contractors/vendors.
  • Maintain an inclusive environment within the CM team, guide, and mentor the employees for their career growth.
About You

To be considered for this role it is envisaged you will possess the following attributes:

  • Sound and hands on experience on construction management processes, experienced in driving HSE compliances, Sound knowledge and experience of construction quality management, planning and progress monitoring, Knowledge of the construction methods and understanding of the processes, systems and protocols applicable to Oil & Gas and Chemicals Sector.
  • Graduate Engineers with minimum 25 years of experience and should have handled/successfully completed one project as Construction Manager Oil & Gas or Chemicals Sector.
  • Graduate in Engineering in Civil/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering
  • Knowledge of safe methods of execution of construction activities and experienced in driving HSE compliances.
