Job summary

PFI Innovation Centre India is seeking a Manager, HR Operations to lead a Gurgaon-based HR Operations team responsible for delivering scalable HR services across the globe. You will oversee day-to-day operations, ensure compliance with local labour laws, and partner with payroll, benefits, COEs, and external vendors to maintain consistency and risk controls.

Join our People Services & Solutions team as a Manager, HR Operations and lead the delivery of high‑quality, scalable HR services across the Globe.

What You Will Do

In this role, you will lead and develop a team of HR Operations professionals based in Gurgaon, overseeing day‑to‑day HR service delivery and driving continuous improvement across processes, systems, and controls. The role ensures consistent, compliant HR operations aligned with local employment practices and also serves as the on‑site supervisor for a global HR operations team serving the US, Asia and EMEA.

• Manage and develop an HR Operations team, promoting a strong service‑delivery, employee‑experience mindset, and operational excellence.
• Drive process standardization, documentation, and optimization. Identify opportunities to streamline, automate, and scale HR processes.
• Partner closely with People Business Leaders, Centers of Excellence (COEs), Payroll, Benefits, Technology, and external vendors supporting business needs while maintaining operational consistency.
• Act as an escalation point for complex HR operational issues and employee queries across multiple countries.
• Maintain strong employee data integrity, support audits and internal controls, and manage operational risk across the region.
• Lead end‑to‑end local HR operational processes across the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, employee changes, compensation updates, leave administration, and offboarding.
• Ensure HR transactions are executed accurately, consistently, and in compliance with local labor laws, consultation obligations, and regional employment practices.

What You Will Bring

• 6–8+ years of experience in HR operations roles within a global or multinational organization including support of India.
• Solid understanding of Iabour laws, local employment practices, and regional compliance requirements.
• Demonstrated success in driving process improvement and operational change.
• Strong operational and analytical capability, with excellent attention to detail and a focus on accuracy and risk management.
• Confident people leader with the ability to develop, coach, and motivate high‑performing teams.
• Customer‑focused and pragmatic, with a solution‑oriented approach to problem solving.
• Comfortable operating in a fast‑paced, evolving environment, managing competing priorities effectively.
• Strong communicator, able to partner effectively across the People Team and the wider business.
• Flexible and resilient, with the ability to work effectively with global, geographically dispersed teams across multiple time zones.
• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, or a related field preferred.

What Will Set You Apart

• Previous experience of working in a Global Capability Centre environment.
• Experience working in a regulated or financial services environment.
• Experience using Workday HCM and Talent Acquisition modules, and ServiceNow or other case management system.
• Strong working knowledge of Workday, ServiceNow, and Microsoft Office 365, with the ability to leverage systems to drive consistency, compliance, and process improvement.
• Familiarity with Co‑Pilot including agent building.
• Diverse language skills.
