Job summary

Waaree Renewable Technologies in Delhi (Head Office) seeks an experienced Senior Regulatory Coordinator to manage regulatory coordination, grid connectivity, transmission coordination, and COD for large-scale renewable energy projects.

The role requires 7–12 years in Utility Scale Solar or Renewable Energy, with strong knowledge of Indian power sector, regulatory compliance, and engagement with CTUIL, RLDC/NRLDC, SLDC, DISCOMs and regulators to ensure timely commissioning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (B.E./B.Tech) required.
• 6–12 years of relevant experience in utility-scale solar/renewable energy.
• Hands-on grid connectivity, regulatory compliance, and project commissioning.
• Experience coordinating with CTUIL, RLDC, NRLDC, SLDC, STU, DISCOMs, CEA or similar authorities.
• Strong understanding of Grid Connectivity, Grid Synchronization, Power Evacuation, GNA/LTA, CERC Regulations, IEGC, CEA Standards.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, documentation, planning, and problem-solving.
• Willingness to travel to project sites.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end regulatory and grid connectivity activities for utility-scale renewable energy projects.
• Coordinate with CTUIL, RLDC/NRLDC, SLDC, STU, DISCOMs, CEA, CERC, and other statutory authorities.
• Obtain connectivity approvals, charging approvals, synchronization approvals, and commercial operation approvals.
• Manage GNA/LTA processes, transmission coordination, and power evacuation activities.
• Ensure compliance with applicable CERC Regulations, IEGC, CEA Technical Standards, and other statutory requirements.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Project Management, SCADA, Protection, Testing & Commissioning, Procurement, and Commercial teams.
• Prepare, review, and submit technical documentation required for statutory approvals.
• Monitor approval timelines and proactively resolve regulatory issues to avoid project delays.
• Support successful project commissioning, synchronization, and declaration of COD.
• Maintain effective relationships with external authorities and internal stakeholders.

Candidates should possess strong knowledge of the Indian power sector, grid connectivity procedures, regulatory compliance, and utility-scale project commissioning.
