Manager, Global Learning Operations

Gurgaon, Haryana, India

As a Manager within our Global Talent Management & Employee Experience Team, you will contribute towards the next stage of development of learning at AXA XL to help us attract and retain the best talent in our business units. We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized individual who will be responsible for providing learning coordination support, manage learning data and develop insights, and support the design and rollout process for mandatory training. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, regional learning leads, and subject matter experts to ensure the smooth execution of learning programs and activities across multiple locations. The ideal candidate will have outstanding administrative skills, excellent attention to detail, and a passion for designing and implementing learning solutions that create an exceptional learner experience.

What youll be DOING

What will your essential responsibilities include?

  • Learning Program Coordination: Assist in the coordination and administration of global learning and development programs, including scheduling training sessions, managing participant registrations, and organizing training materials. Ensure all logistical requirements are met, such as room bookings, technology setup, and catering arrangements.
  • Learning Delivery Support: Coordinate the delivery of learning programs, including instructor-led training sessions, virtual training sessions, e-learning modules, and webinars. Liaise with facilitators and trainers to ensure they have the necessary resources and materials for successful program delivery. Provide technical support for virtual training sessions and troubleshoot any issues that may arise.
  • Content Design and Development: For mandatory trainings, apply instructional design strategies to advise the business stakeholders on content development approach, learner engagement and an overall process for deployment and communication of mandatory training.
  • Learning Ecosystem & Content Strategy: Oversee the management of digital learning content on our LMS. Champion the adoption and integration of learning ecosystems to create a single source of learning data, enhance learner engagement, and streamline administrative processes through digital transformation.
  • Data-Driven Insights & Strategic Reporting: Lead the collection, analysis, and interpretation of learning data, providing strategic insights through dashboards and reports using tools like Power BI. Use data to measure success, inform continuous improvement, and advise stakeholders on learning impact and organizational readiness.
  • Stakeholder & Change Management: Act as a trusted strategic advisor to business units and senior leadership, aligning learning initiatives with broader organizational goals. Facilitate stakeholder engagement and foster a consulting approach to identify learning needs, support cultural transformation, and embed a growth mindset across the organization.
  • Partnership & Vendor Management: Develop strategic relationships with external vendors, consultants, and partners. Oversee contract negotiations, ensure quality standards, and manage logistics to deliver impactful learning solutions aligned with organizational standards.

  • Proven experience in strategic learning & development leadership, with a robust background in operations, ideally within a global environment.
  • Extensive experience with learning tools and systems, including LMS, LXP, and other digital learning platforms.
  • Outstanding proficiency in data visualization and reporting tools, such as Power BI, for analytics and strategic insights.
  • Should have a firm grasp of how people learn through instructional design methodologies, and excellent writing, communication and collaboration skills.
