Job Description
  • Lead and oversee Net Asset Values (NAVs), distribution rates, and key fund accounting controls across Invesco investment products and validation of NAV deviations against defined threshold limits, in alignment with investment strategies, regulatory requirements, and internal control expectations.
  • Manage and provide oversight of daily fund accounting activities, including overdraft checks, cash and position monitoring, fund setup and maintenance, leverage test review, and related assurance controls.
  • Oversee and provide strategic guidance on process responsibilities, including daily oversight of Net Asset Values (NAVs), distribution rates, and key fund accounting controls across Invesco investment products.
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and technical expertise to the team in resolving complex issues related to third-party administrator calculations, ensuring timely escalation and risk mitigation where required.
  • Ensure assurance and oversight of regulatory changes, industry developments, and business requirements impacting Invesco's global products and financial instruments.
  • Establish, maintain, and continuously enhance a robust internal control framework, ensuring effective monitoring, governance, documentation, and audit readiness.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team through effective training, coaching, performance management, succession planning, and proactive management of short- and long-term resource requirements.
  • Drive strategic initiatives and special projects, including the design, implementation, and enhancement of processes, systems, controls, and operating procedures.
  • Ensure procedures, policies, and operational documentation remain current, comprehensive, and aligned with business and regulatory expectations.
  • Evaluate, challenge, and provide assurance over issues, breaches, exceptions, and control deficiencies identified through oversight reviews, ensuring appropriate remediation and escalation.
  • Act as the primary representative for the team in cross-functional initiatives, stakeholder engagements, and strategic projects across local and global locations.
  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with third-party administrators, custodians, NAV oversight vendors, auditors, and other internal and external business partners to support operational excellence.
  • Collaborate closely with Assurance and Service Delivery teams across the US, APAC, and EMEA regions to drive consistency, best practices, risk management, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, operational excellence, continuous improvement, and strong risk and control awareness across the team.
  • Performing Management reporting on the monthly/ adhoc basis including KPI, KRI’s, business matrix and project updates.
The Experience Your Bring
  • 12+ years of experience in financial services (investment management/ banking/ insurance), is required
  • Strong understanding of capital markets, investment products, fund structures, NAV processes, reconciliations, and operational controls.
  • Prior experience in oversight, assurance, control review, or third-party administrator/vendor management is preferred.
  • People management or team leadership experience, with the ability to coach, review, guide, and develop team members.
  • Strong knowledge of fund accounting controls, cash and position reconciliations, NAV deviation analysis, fund setup, and operational risk management.
  • Ability to manage internal and external stakeholders across global locations, including administrators, custodians, auditors, compliance, legal, and portfolio management teams.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present issues, risks, and updates clearly to management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Collaborative mindset, flexibility, openness to different perspectives, and ability to operate effectively through change and ambiguity.
