Job summary

Mastermind Network in Mumbai is seeking an experienced Banking Analytics professional to develop fraud strategies and data-driven solutions. The role requires hands-on work with large datasets using SQL and Python to identify emerging fraud threats and align analytics with regulatory banking rules in a U.S.

context. You will partner with client stakeholders, perform exploratory analyses, and present actionable insights to cross-functional teams, leveraging SAS where applicable.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of experience in risk, collections, fraud analytics and strategy.
• Good knowledge of SQL, SAS and Python.
• Banking/fraud analytics experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop new fraud strategies using statistical techniques (decision trees, random forests and other methods).
• Partner with client stakeholders to define business problems and develop data-driven solutions.
• Perform exploratory and statistical analyses to uncover trends, risks and opportunities.

Exp:5yrs to8 yrs yrs in Risk /Collections/ Fraud Analytics & Strategy -with Good knowledge on SQL AND SAS/ Python

Role:

• Development of new fraud strategies using statistical and analytical techniques including decision trees, random forests and other quantitative methods. Goal will be to identify and mitigate new and emerging fraud threats.
• Partner with client stakeholders to define business problems and develop data-driven solutions
• Perform exploratory and statistical analysis to uncover trends, risks, and growth opportunities
• Work with large datasets using SQL, Python; ensure data integrity and interpretability
• Present insights, hypotheses, and recommendations clearly to cross-functional teams
• Align analytics solutions with regulatory and business rules in the U.S. banking context

Required Candidate profile

Must have good exposure in SQL
