Job summary

Resonia, formerly Sterlite Power, seeks a Manager – Financial Modelling to lead the design and development of tender bids with competitive pricing and risk assessment. You will build and audit detailed project finance models for transmission projects under various tariff mechanisms.

Key duties include revenue, capex, opex, debt servicing and tax forecasting, plus scenario analyses and investment memorandums for senior management.

Qualifications

• Experience in building and auditing financial models for large, complex projects.
• Ability to perform DCF, IRR, NPV, and sensitivity analyses to assess investment viability.
• Strong understanding of project finance concepts and risk-adjusted pricing.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of tender bids with competitive pricing and cost scenarios.
• Build and maintain integrated project finance models for transmission projects (TBCB, PPP, regulated tariff).
• Model revenue, capex, opex, debt servicing, taxation and cash flows; conduct scenario testing.
• Validate models to internal standards and support bid submissions with financial evaluation.
• Assess acquisition opportunities and prepare investment memorandums for senior management.

Key Accountabilities / Responsibilities

• Financial Modelling & Valuation


• Develop and maintain integrated project finance models for transmission projects under TBCB, PPP, and regulated tariff mechanisms.


• Build detailed financial models covering revenue projections, capital expenditure, operating costs, debt servicing, taxation, and cash flow forecasting.


• Conduct DCF, IRR, NPV, equity return, and sensitivity analyses.


• Perform scenario analysis for changes in project parameters, timelines, tariff structures, financing costs, and regulatory assumptions.


• Validate and audit financial models to ensure accuracy and compliance with internal standards.


• Bid Support & Investment Analysis


• Support bid submissions for transmission projects through robust financial evaluation.


• Assess project viability and recommend optimal bid levels.


• Analyse acquisition opportunities, brownfield assets, and strategic investments.


• Prepare investment memorandums and recommendations for senior management and investment committees.
