Job summary

Caterpillar is seeking an Engine Test Maintenance Manager in Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar, Maharashtra, to lead maintenance for engine test cells, dynamometers, emissions equipment and data systems. You will drive reliability, safety and cost efficiency while supporting production, validation and certification testing.

You will manage maintenance teams, implement RCM, RCA, and predictive maintenance, develop KPI dashboards, coordinate with engineering and suppliers, and mentor technicians.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or Industrial Engineering.
• 5-10 years of maintenance experience in automotive manufacturing, powertrain, or engine testing environments.
• Certifications in Reliability Engineering, TPM, Six Sigma, or Project Management are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage maintenance teams for engine test cells and supporting equipment.
• Develop preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance strategies to maximize reliability.
• Establish maintenance KPIs including uptime, MTBF, MTTR, and equipment availability.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce downtime and maintenance costs.
