Job summary

IBM India Private Limited seeks a Manager, Enterprise Integrations & Automations to lead the India-based integrations team and own the integration roadmap, focusing on Workato-driven automation across SaaS and enterprise applications.

You will partner with US stakeholders, set patterns for security and governance, design REST and SOAP APIs, and mentor engineers to deliver scalable, reliable integration solutions in production.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in enterprise software integration, application middleware, or automation.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience building and administering Workato environments.
  • Experience delivering and supporting reliable, secure, and maintainable integration solutions in production.
  • Strong understanding of REST and SOAP APIs, JSON and XML payloads, webhooks, and authentication protocols such as OAuth2 and JWT.
  • Experience integrating SaaS applications or enterprise systems such as Salesforce, NetSuite, Workday, ServiceNow, Snowflake, CRM, ERP, identity, finance, or data platforms.
  • Understanding of Kafka and event-based architecture.
  • Experience building reusable integration frameworks, design standards, or internal platforms.
  • Strong problem-solving, stakeholder management, and communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for business audiences.
  • Experience leading or developing technical teams across geographies and time zones.

Responsibilities

  • Own integration strategy and architecture, including enterprise-grade Workato recipes, custom connectors through the Workato SDK, and reusable workflow patterns.
  • Partner with US stakeholders and teams to identify opportunities and automate complex business processes.
  • Establish practical standards for security, privacy, reliability, maintainability, and integration governance.
  • Manage Workato environment practices across development, testing, and production, including platform health and task consumption.
  • Design and manage REST and SOAP API integrations, webhook connections, payload mappings, and data transformations.
  • Monitor production workflows, investigate recipe failures, improve error-handling patterns, and maintain data synchronization accuracy.
  • Guide architecture decisions, communicate tradeoffs, and enable engineers and technical leads to deliver independently.
  • Support hiring, career development, performance management, and effective India–US collaboration.

Your role and responsibilities

We are seeking a Workato Integrations Manager to lead our enterprise automation strategy and India-based integrations team. You will own the integration roadmap, design and scale automated workflows connecting critical SaaS and enterprise applications, and serve as a trusted architecture and design leader.

You will bridge business needs and technical execution, transforming manual bottlenecks into reliable, automated data flows using Workato and complementary integration patterns. The role includes regular partnership with business and technology stakeholders in the US.

10+ years of experience in enterprise software integration, application middleware, or automation.

3+ years of hands-on experience building and administering Workato environments.

Preferred technical and professional experience
  • Experience supporting integrations in a SaaS or high-growth enterprise environment.
  • Familiarity with Confluent Cloud or other streaming/data integration platforms.
  • Working knowledge of integration security, authentication, and access patterns including OAuth, API keys, and SSO-related workflows.
  • Experience documenting reusable integration patterns, standards, and operational runbooks.
