Job summary

Qualifications

Experience with cloud infrastructure across multiple platforms and strong Linux/VMware knowledge.
Exposure to Terraform, Ansible, and native cloud automation services to automate processes.
Experience with cloud migration projects, planning, and execution, delivering for business needs.
Proficiency in managing Kubernetes clusters across cloud environments for container orchestration.
Understanding of CI/CD practices and their application to cloud infrastructure management.
Knowledge of security controls to ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
Ability to monitor performance, optimize resources, and manage costs across clouds.
Experience working in multi-cloud environments including Oracle Cloud, Nutanix Cloud, Alibaba Cloud.

Your role and responsibilities

As an Infrastructure Specialist for Cloud Platforms, you will manage and implement infrastructure solutions across various cloud environments according to established designs, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security. You will collaborate with IT teams to implement and integrate cloud infrastructure solutions based on existing designs.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

Set Up and Configure Cloud Infrastructure: Set up, configure, and manage virtual machines, storage solutions, networking, and databases across different cloud platforms to effectively support business applications.
Implement and Oversee Cloud Resources: Implement and oversee essential cloud resources such as Virtual Private Clouds (VPCs), Load Balancers, and Cloud Storage solutions to ensure smooth operations.
Monitor and Troubleshoot Infrastructure: Continuously monitor infrastructure, troubleshoot issues, and maintain high availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR) configurations to ensure reliable performance.
Apply Security Measures: Apply and enforce security measures to ensure cloud infrastructure complies with organizational policies and industry regulations.
Optimize Cloud Costs: Optimize cloud costs by right-sizing resources, developing cost-effective solutions, and monitoring usage patterns.

Cloud Services Proficiency: Exposure to cloud services from providers such as Oracle Cloud, Nutanix Cloud, Alibaba Cloud, and others, with expertise in Linux and VMware environments.

Cloud Migration Project Experience: Experience with cloud migration projects, including implementation and execution, with a focus on effective planning and delivery.

Advanced Cloud Security Measures: Experience with implementing and enforcing advanced security measures to ensure cloud infrastructure compliance with organizational policies and industry regulations.
Multi-Cloud Environment Expertise: Exposure to managing and implementing infrastructure solutions across multiple cloud environments, including Oracle Cloud, Nutanix Cloud, Alibaba Cloud, and others.
