About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Manager Transfer Pricing to join our India Consulting organization in Gurgaon. The role involves leading transfer pricing engagements, advising multinational clients on complex transfer pricing matters, managing client relationships, and mentoring team members while ensuring high-quality delivery of projects.

Key Responsibilities

Client Advisory & Engagement Management

• Lead and manage transfer pricing assignments for domestic and multinational clients across various industries.
• Advise clients on transfer pricing planning, policy design, implementation, and compliance requirements.
• Provide technical guidance on Indian transfer pricing regulations, OECD Transfer Pricing Guidelines, and international tax developments.
• Manage end-to-end transfer pricing documentation projects, including benchmarking studies and economic analyses.
• Support clients during transfer pricing audits, assessments, dispute resolution, and APA engagements.
• Review and analyze intercompany transactions to identify transfer pricing risks and opportunities.

Business Development

• Participate in proposal preparation, client presentations, and business development initiatives.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships to identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities.
• Contribute to thought leadership, market research, and knowledge management initiatives.

Team Leadership

• Supervise, mentor, and develop associates and senior associates.
• Review deliverables prepared by team members and ensure quality standards are maintained.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation effectively.

Technical & Regulatory Monitoring

• Stay updated on changes in transfer pricing regulations, international tax developments, BEPS initiatives, and global tax trends.
• Assist clients in evaluating the impact of evolving tax regulations on their business models.

Required Qualifications

• Chartered Accountant (CA), MBA (Finance), Master's in Economics, or equivalent professional qualification.
• 6 - 10 years of relevant experience in transfer pricing within a consulting firm, Big 4, professional services organization, or multinational corporation.
• Strong understanding of Indian transfer pricing regulations, OECD Guidelines, and international tax principles.
• Experience in benchmarking studies, economic analyses, transfer pricing documentation, and audit support.
• Proven experience in managing client engagements and leading teams.
• Excellent analytical, communication, report-writing, and presentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to APA, MAP, litigation support, and dispute resolution matters.
• Experience working with multinational clients across multiple jurisdictions.
• Knowledge of financial databases and transfer pricing research tools.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial analysis.
