Job summary

The role requires an engineering degree and 10-12 years of relevant experience, with a preference for those with manufacturing domain exposure and a certification in digital transformation or design thinking.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree (B.E./B.Tech.) or related discipline.
• Certification in Digital Transformation/ Design Thinking (preferred).
• 10-12 years of experience in digital transformation, PM, solution design or technology-enabled business transformation.
• Manufacturing or related domain experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of digital projects from concept and business case through design, implementation, deployment and value realization.
• Translate business challenges into digital solutions by defining requirements, user journeys, and functional specifications.
• Develop project plans, milestones, resource requirements, delivery roadmaps and governance mechanisms.
• Drive alignment across business, operations, IT, and leadership through reviews and decision forums.
• Work with technology and architecture teams to evaluate solution options, data flows, integrations, and AI capabilities.
• Ensure testing, deployment, user adoption, change management, and transition to operations.
• Track project benefits and KPIs against the approved business case and pursue continuous improvement.
• Identify improvement opportunities and scale successful digital solutions.
• Prefer candidates with manufacturing or related domain experience.

• Digital Project Management: Lead end-to-end delivery of digital projects from concept and business case through design, implementation, deployment and value realization, ensuring scope, timeline, cost and quality objectives are met.
• Business & Solution Design: Translate business and operational challenges into digital solutions by defining requirements, user journeys, functional specifications, process improvements and future-state designs.
• Project Planning & Governance: Develop project plans, milestones, resource requirements, delivery roadmaps and governance mechanisms; proactively manage risks, issues, dependencies and change requests.
• Stakeholder Management: Drive alignment across business, operations, IT, functional teams, vendors and senior leadership through effective communication, reviews and decision-making forums.
• Technology & Integration: Work with technology and architecture teams to evaluate solution options, data flows, system integrations, digital platforms, analytics, automation and emerging digital/AI capabilities.
• Implementation & Adoption: Ensure effective testing, deployment, user adoption, change management, training and transition to operations, with a strong focus on business outcomes.
• Value Realization & Continuous Improvement: Track project benefits and KPIs against the approved business case, identify improvement opportunities and drive continuous enhancement and scaling of successful digital solutions.
