Manager, Delivery Management oversees the delivery of technology projects and coordinates with senior leadership, stakeholders, and other technical teams to drive successful project outcomes and implement best practices.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the planning, development, and delivery of technology projects, ensuring they meet business requirements, timelines, and quality standards, and align with strategic goals
• Leads the facilitation of Program Increment (PI) Planning meetings with leadership, product management teams, delivery teams, and business partners
• Collaborates with stakeholders to define project goals, requirements, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical feasibility
• Leads solution design discussions that provide technical oversight and adheres to Enterprise Architecture standards on complex APIs and/or application integrations
• Orchestrates breakdown of work, sequencing, assignment of tasks, and scheduling multiple work streams
• Manages change control and escalation handling in project/s
• Proposes solutions to overcome delivery impediments; supports issues resolution through creative solutions
• Manages impediments, risks, dependencies, and resourcing needs across stakeholders and senior leadership
• May or may not manage and lead a team of Technology Delivery colleagues, enabling a culture of continuous learning, growth opportunities, and inclusivity for all individual colleagues and teams
• May or may not provide leadership, guidance, and coaching to Technology Delivery teams, supporting training and development of best practices
• Collaborates with senior leadership to hire top talent for the team, ensuring a high-functioning and cohesive unit, implementing strategies for talent retention and professional development
• Collaborates and co-creates effectively with teams in product and the business to align technology initiatives with business objectives
• Establishes integrated release plans that align dependencies and milestones across teams, trains, and external partners

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Business Management, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, and/or comparable experience; advanced degree preferred
• Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies and practices
• Knowledge of Project Management
• Knowledge of Technology Delivery
• Knowledge of Agile management tools such as Jira, Rally, or similar platforms
  

Education Qualifications:

• 8 – 12 Years of Experience in project management, delivery management, or a related job within the technology sector
• Experience in leading and mentoring technology delivery teams
• Experience in working in an Agile/Scrum environment
• Experience in application design, software development, and automated testing
• Experience in distributed (multi-tiered) systems, algorithms, and relational databases
• Experience in Agile software development methodologies and practices such as Scrum/Kanban, iterations, user stories
• Experience in automation testing and documentation (i.e., automated, functional, and performance)
• Experience with Application Programming Interface (APIs), RESTful services, and middleware platforms
• Licenses and Certifications:
• Certification in SPC (SAFe Program Consultant), SA (SAFe Agilist), PMI-ACP (Agile Certified Practitioner), or PMP (Project Management Professional) is a plus

Work Experience
