Job summary

SBI Card in India is seeking a seasoned Data Leakage Prevention (DLP) specialist to lead the DLP program across endpoints, web and email. This role drives policy design, incident response and vendor collaboration to safeguard sensitive data.

You will collaborate with vendors, integrate DLP with SIEM and NAC, and support regulatory compliance. A Bachelor's degree and certifications such as ISO27001/CEH are desirable.

Qualifications

Experience with Data Leakage Prevention platforms including infra & content management.
Understanding of DLP solutions, preferably Symantec/Broadcom, Data Classification, IRM.
Experienced deploying, maintaining and operating DLP on endpoint, web and email.
DLP product OEM certification on related technology.
Industry certifications such as ISO27001 or CEH are desirable.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage the DLP program lifecycle and policy configurations.
Collaborate with vendors to implement DLP tools, technology and processes.
Ensure timely investigation of DLP alerts and incidents.
Coordinate with Compliance, HR and business units.
Deploy Data Classification and Data Marking across the environment.
Integrate DLP with SIEM, NAC and vulnerability management.
Perform maintenance and patching of DLP components.
Manage e-discovery for data at rest.
Document processes and ensure regulatory compliance.

Role Purpose

Responsible for running and maintaining overall platform, assuring deployment across egress points and participate in Data-Leakage-Incident investigations as and when required.

Role Accountability

Lead the existing DLP Program, update, upgrade, design change, policy configuration & data leakage investigations
Work with DLP Program/ Product vendors to implement and support the DLP tools, technology and processes. Including identification, assessment of tools, technology, partners/ vendors
Understand and follow the incident response process through event escalations, ensure DLP alerts are investigated, responded and actioned on time
Collaborate with internal control and support teams such as Compliance, HR, business functions
Participate in the deployment of a Data Classification, Data Marking, and DLP solution
Assist with the development and testing of proposed DLP solutions. Interface with system owners to coordinate new endpoint deployments
Work with cross-functional teams to integrate DLP systems with other solutions like SIEM, NAC and Vulnerability Management
Perform operations and maintenance tasks such as patching and upgrades on all DLP system components
Respond to troubleshooting tickets associated with DLP and Data masking, Information Rights management solution
Manage e-discovery program for Data-at-rest
Perform process documentation and compliance adherence

Measures of Success

Uptime of DLP Platform, implementation, upgrade and life-cycle management
Development and maturity of DLP Policies and False Positives under acceptable threshold
Timely delivery of project plans, milestone updates, presentations, assessment reports etc. to relevant stakeholders
KPI/KRI as per defined threshold
Process Adherence as per MOU

Technical Skills / Experience / Certifications

Understanding and Hands-on experience on Data Leakage Prevention Platform including Infra & Content Management & Leakage Threat Vector
Understanding of DLP solutions, preferably from Symantec / Broadcom, Data Classification, IRM etc. and Data-in-use, Data-in-motion & Data-at-rest
Experienced with deployment, maintenance and operations of one or more DLP solutions on endpoint, web and eMail
DLP Product OEM Certification on related technology
At least one relevant Industry standard certifications such as ISO27001, CEH etc.
