Job summary

Genesis Manpower Solutions in Mumbai invites applications for the role of Manager Dairy QA(SMP). Based in Mumbai, you will lead QA/production teams to ensure SMP, Butter, Whey Powder quality across the dairy plant, and drive food safety culture.

You should have 10–15 years of experience in dairy production or QA, with a strong background in SMP and related products, and a Dairy Technology degree.

Travel may be required; reporting to Head Dairy.

Qualifications

• 10-15 years of experience handling Production or QA or Production & QA of SMP, Butter, Whey Powder.

Responsibilities

• Drive the Quality and Food Safety culture across value chain.
• Drive Quality goals/KRAs and achieve targets year on year.
• Identify, plan, document and manage practices needed to meet quality goals and objectives for raw materials, packaging materials and finished products.
• Adhere to Organization guidelines/specification/requirements; oversee raw milk reception analysis per IS and milk selection criteria.
• Knowledge of Fermented Products, Raw milk, Flavored Milk and testing; oversee reconstitution and recombination of milk.
• Lead the team and ensure SOP adherence; monitor KPI-based production processes; compile deviation reports.
• Ensure plant runs without deviations; manage deviations if any.
• Oversee efficient conversion of material into quality product; impart functional training to team; ensure plant hygiene.

Position - Manager Dairy QA(SMP)

Reporting to - Head Dairy

Location - Mumbai

CO-ORDINATES WITH: Manager QA, Plant Manager

JOB PURPOSE: To facilitate with plant teams to manage Dairy Plant, process plant and ensure the quality SMP, Butter, Whey Powder as per the Organization standards

Principle Responsibilities

• To drive the Quality and Food Safety culture across value chain.
• To drive Quality goals/ KRA’s and achieve the set targets year on year.
• To identify, plan, document and manage the practices, activities and resources needed to meet quality Goals and objectives in manner that enables management to enable Quality performance
• To Implement the Organization Quality standards for raw materials, packaging materials and finished products at all company owned plants and franchisee plants so as to adhere to the Organization guidelines/specification/requirements. Overall knowledge of handling of Raw Milk Reception including analysis as per IS, Criteria of milk selection for different processes
• Through knowledge of Fermented Products, Raw milk, Flavored Milk and Testing procedures. Also well versed with Reconstitution and recombination process of Milk.
• Flavored milk and Fermented Products (Drinking Yoghurts) preparation
• Lead the team and adhere all the Standard operating procedures.
• Monitoring the production process based on KPI and identifying the scope of improvement
• Ensure plant runs without any deviations, analyzing and compiling the deviation reports if any
• Manage the efforts of operating teams in efficient conversion of material into a quality product
• To impart functional training to team and ensure the plant hygiene.

KNOWLEDGE IN DEPTH: 10 to 15 years of Experience handling Production or Q.A. or Production & Q.A. of SMP , Butter , Whey Powder

Note: Travelling will be needed for this role as per requirement, however, it would be Mumbai-Based.

M.Tech Dairy.
