Job summary

GMR Group seeks a seasoned aviation security compliance professional to manage security-related compliances and issue Aerodrome Entry Permits for the airport community. The role includes coordinating with BCAS, CISF and local authorities for timely approvals and ensuring adherence to regulatory programmes.

Candidates should have 10–15 years in security, with at least 5 years in aviation, and be open to Goa-based roles. Goan or Goa-experienced candidates are preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduation in any discipline.
• Basic AVSEC Course by BCAS is required.
• AVSEC Management Course is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with BCAS, CISF and local authorities for operational matters and emergencies.
• Obtain GMR Business security approval and BCAS/CISF vetting.
• Ensure BCAS compliance and internal audit as per Airport Security Programme.

Job description

Job Purpose

The Position is responsible for all Security related Compliances including issuance of Aerodrome Entry Permits to whole airport community for seamless operations of airlines, stakeholders & others. The position is also responsible for Security Clearance of Concessionaires / Service Providers for timely commencement of commercial operations and periodic BCAS mandatory regulatory compliances. To also carry out functions of Aviation Security Compliance officer for GGIAL as mentioned in the National Civil Aviation Security Programme and the Airport Security Programme.

Key Accountabilities

Liaise with BCAS, CISF and local Police authorities in connection with various operational matters and during emergencies pertaining to the Airport. No of coordination/interaction with such representatives

To obtain GMR Business security approval and Security Vetting’s from BCAS and CISF. GMR Business Continuity

All BCAS and RD Goa office Compliance and to ensure that internal audit and inspection is done as per Quality Control Programme to have quality control as per Airport Security Programme Regulatory Compliance

Co-ordinating for timely approval of Aerodrome Entry Permits from BCAS for whole airport community and ensure on time issuance of AEPs to the stakeholders 100% compliance to BCAS guidelines

Communicate to the Agencies/Departments, alerts issued by BCAS and enforce enhanced additional security measures No. of Incidents notified/ addressed

Assist in timely compliance report of observations in BCAS audits and inspections. MIS on Compliance

Processing of ~ 4000 Permanent AEPs to airport community.

Issuance of ~ 50-100 Temporary AEPs and 50-100 labour passes on a day to day basis

Education Qualifications

Graduation in any discipline

Qualified in Basic AVSEC Course by Bureau of Civil Aviation Security

Qualified in AVSEC Management Course by Bureau of Civil Aviation Security (preferable)

Relevant Experience

10 to 15 years’ experience in the field of Security with a minimum of 05 years’ experience in Aviation Industry.

Goan Candidates OR Candidates having working experience in Goa will be an added advantage.
