Job summary

GGIAL invites applications for a Security Compliance Manager role responsible for all security-related compliances, including Aerodrome Entry Permits, vetting, and regulatory BCAS and Airport Security Programme adherence.

The candidate will coordinate with BCAS, CISF, Goa Police and other agencies, ensuring timely approvals, audits, and reporting, to support seamless airport operations and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Graduation in any discipline.
• Basic AVSEC Course by Bureau of Civil Aviation Security.
• AVSEC Management Course by Bureau of Civil Aviation Security (preferable).

Responsibilities

• Liaise with BCAS, CISF and local Police authorities in connection with operational matters and emergencies.
• Obtain GMR Business security approval and Security Vetting from BCAS and CISF.
• Ensure BCAS and RD Goa office compliance and conduct internal audits per Quality Control Programme.
• Coordinate timely Aerodrome Entry Permit approvals for the airport community.
• Communicate BCAS alerts to agencies/departments and enforce enhanced security measures.
• Assist in timely compliance reporting of observations in BCAS audits and inspections.

Job description

JOB PURPOSE

The Position is responsible for all Security related Compliances including issuance of Aerodrome Entry Permits to whole airport community for seamless operations of airlines, stakeholders & others. The position is also responsible for Security Clearance of Concessionaires / Service Providers for timely commencement of commercial operations and periodic BCAS mandatory regulatory compliances. To also carry out functions of Aviation Security Compliance officer for GGIAL as mentioned in the National Civil Aviation Security Programme and the Airport Security Programme.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Liaise with BCAS, CISF and local Police authorities in connection with various operational matters and during emergencies pertaining to the Airport.
• To obtain GMR Business security approval and Security Vetting’s from BCAS and CISF.
• All BCAS and RD Goa office Compliance and to ensure that internal audit and inspection is done as per Quality Control Programme to have quality control as per Airport Security Programme
• Co-ordinating for timely approval of Aerodrome Entry Permits from BCAS for whole airport community and ensure on time issuance of AEPs to the stakeholders
• Communicate to the Agencies/Departments, alerts issued by BCAS and enforce enhanced additional security measures
• Assist in timely compliance report of observations in BCAS audits and inspections.

• Directly dealing with government officials like, CISF, Immigrations, Customs, BCAS, Goa Police
• Interaction with Multi-dimensional stakeholders with appropriate grace, humility and teamwork
• Processing of ~ 4000 Permanent AEPs to airport community.
• Issuance of ~ 50-100 Temporary AEPs and 50-100 labour passes on a day to day basis

EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS

Graduation in any discipline
Qualified in Basic AVSEC Course by Bureau of Civil Aviation Security
Qualified in AVSEC Management Course by Bureau of Civil Aviation Security (preferable)

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE

10 to 15 years’ experience in the field of Security with a minimum of 05 years’ experience in Aviation Industry.
Goan Candidates OR Candidates having working experience in Goa will be an added advantage.
