Job summary

Tata AIG General Insurance Company in Mumbai is seeking an experienced Commercial Claims professional to manage end-to-end processing across multiple product lines, coordinating with surveyors, loss assessors, adjusters, brokers, customers and internal teams.

You will review reports, assess coverage, monitor TATs, drive settlements, identify fraud indicators, support litigation and MIS reporting while ensuring regulatory compliance and high customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 6–10 years of experience in Commercial Claims handling.
• Experience in Property, Engineering, Marine or other commercial lines.
• Exposure to surveyors, loss assessors, adjusters, investigators.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end processing of commercial insurance claims across product lines.
• Coordinate with surveyors, loss assessors, investigators, adjusters and brokers for claim assessment.
• Review survey reports, claim documents, reserve adequacy and liability assessments.
• Analyze policy coverage, exclusions and claim admissibility.
• Engage with brokers, corporates and insured customers for resolution and negotiations.
• Monitor TATs and ensure timely settlement of claims.
• Identify potential fraud indicators and coordinate investigations.
• Track high-value and complex claims and provide updates to management.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and internal procedures.
• Drive customer satisfaction through effective communication and claim servicing.
• Prepare MIS, claim analytics and management reports.
• Support litigation, arbitration and recovery/subrogation activities.

To manage and handle Commercial Claims across Property, Engineering, Marine, Liability and other commercial lines. The role involves coordinating with surveyors, loss assessors, adjusters, brokers, customers, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely assessment, investigation, negotiation, and settlement of claims while maintaining service quality and compliance.

• Experience in General Insurance industry preferred.
