• Client Advocacy: Act as the primary technical consultant for corporate clients, breaking down complex policy wordings and advising on loss-mitigation actions.
• Dispute Resolution: Negotiate directly with insurance Claims Managers, legal panels, and independent loss surveyors to resolve disputes regarding claim liability or valuation.

Role Overview

The Claims Manager (CORPORATE/COMMERCIAL Non-EB) manages the complete claims lifecycle for commercial lines of insurance, including Property, Liability, Engineering, Marine, and Financial Lines. Operating within an insurance broking framework, this role serves as a strategic advocate for corporate clients, ensuring quick, equitable, EMPHATETIC and compliant claim settlements. The position requires technical policy interpretation, direct negotiation with insurers and surveyors, and leadership of a specialized claims execution team. Excellent inter-personal rapport with claims teams across insurers and with surveyors is a must.

Key Responsibilities

Claims Management & Client Advocacy

• End-to-End Execution: Direct the notification, documentation, evaluation, and settlement of commercial claims across all Non-EB lines (e.g., Property, Marine, Liability, Cyber, D&O).
• Client Advocacy: Act as the primary technical consultant for corporate clients, breaking down complex policy wordings and advising on loss-mitigation actions.
• Dispute Resolution: Negotiate directly with insurance Claims Managers, legal panels, and independent loss surveyors to resolve disputes regarding claim liability or valuation.

Operations & Process Control

• SLA Performance: Monitor and improve team turnaround times (TAT) from initial loss notification to final claims payout.
• Data Integration: Maintain precise claims registers, track reserve balances, and generate periodic loss-ratio analyses for senior leadership.
• Audit & Compliance: Ensure all claims processing aligns with prevailing insurance regulatory standards and internal corporate governance frameworks
