Job summary

Amazon's Major Appliances category team in India is seeking a Manager, Category Management to own and drive end-to-end P&L for a set of categories and to shape the customer experience within the Major Appliances domain.

The role demands a data-driven, cross-functional leader who can navigate ambiguity, move quickly on experiments, and collaborate with senior stakeholders inside and outside Amazon. It also expects mentorship of a high-performing team and a strong bias for action.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of team management experience.
• 5+ years of account management, project or program management or buying experience.
• Bachelor's degree.
• Experience with vendor negotiations, pricing and promotion or inventory management.
• Experience driving internal cross-team collaboration.
• Experience at a senior level in the fashion industry ideally in an e-commerce, retail, key account management or consulting role.
• Experience using data to influence business decisions.
• Experience driving direction and alignment with cross-functional teams.

The Major Appliances Category team in India is looking for a Manager, Category Management to own and drive end to end P&L for a set of categories and also drive the customer experience. The person who joins this team must share our passion and commitment for serving customers while also making Amazon a preferred partner for Major Appliances. S/he must be able to balance thinking big, working with ambiguity while driving speed of experimentation. We are looking for self-starters with strong analytical skills and result-orientation who can make and execute independent, data-driven decisions and work with senior stakeholders , both internally and externally.
