Job summary

Lupin is seeking a specialist Paediatric Neurological Physiotherapist in Delhi to deliver advanced therapies and lead holistic patient care. You will work with a multidisciplinary team, coordinate with carers and families, and prepare detailed assessment and rehabilitation reports for various stakeholders.

Applicants should have 3–5 years of relevant experience, hold an MPT Paediatrics, and demonstrate strong communication and clinical skills in a diverse setting.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of relevant physiotherapy experience in paediatric neurology.
• MPT Paediatrics or an equivalent qualification is required.
• Ability to liaise with healthcare professionals, carers, parents and relatives.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist paediatric neurological physiotherapy treatments (FES, CIMT, Saebo, serial casting, thermoplastic splinting, hydrotherapy).
• Liaise with other health care professionals, carers and parents; provide education and training.
• Lead the organisation of the health and social requirements of patients with neurological conditions.
• Provide comprehensive assessment / costing / rehabilitation reports for case managers, insurers, and authorities.
• Provide physiotherapy input for clients with highly complex needs.
• Monitor, evaluate and modify treatment to measure progress and effectiveness.
• Contribute to multidisciplinary assessment / treatment / discharge planning.
• Discuss services and options with potential clients and relatives / carers.
• Involve patients in planning rehabilitation; provide support and advice to patients and carers.
• Coordinate services across health, social, statutory and voluntary sectors for complex cases.

• To monitor, evaluate and modify treatment in order to measure progress and ensure effectiveness of intervention.

To provide physiotherapy input for comprehensive interdisciplinary assessment / treatment / discharge

To discuss services and treatment options to potential clients and / or their relatives / carers.

To ensure that clients are involved in the planning and prioritisation of their rehabilitation plans wherever possible. To provide support, consultation and advice on relevant physiotherapy issues to patients and carers.

To contribute to the management of complex cases, ensuring coordination of services involved such as health, social, statutory and voluntary services.

To adapt practice to for each individual patient, including due regard for cultural, social, and linguistic differences in addition to their cognitive and physical disabilities.

To demonstrate high level of clinical effectiveness by use of evidence based practice

To contribute to patients’ care and delivery of service by developing skills beyond one’s own professional training
