Adani Ports and SEZ is seeking an experienced airport operations professional to coordinate team activities, manage shifts, and oversee daily airside operations. The role emphasizes safety, regulatory compliance, and effective coordination with airlines and ground services.

You will lead emergency response planning, optimize manpower, and monitor key performance indicators to improve efficiency and minimize disruptions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Aviation / Airport Operations or related field.
• Engineering degree in Aeronautical, Mechanical, Electrical, Civil or related discipline.
• Any relevant graduate qualification accepted.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate team activities, assign tasks, and oversee shift schedules to maintain smooth airport operations.
• Oversee daily airside operations including aircraft movements and ground handling processes.
• Supervise safety audits and ensure compliance with current safety regulations and industry standards.
• Develop and lead emergency response plans and coordinate with emergency services.
• Facilitate communication between airport, airlines, and ground service providers to ensure smooth operational flow.
• Track and report on performance metrics to assess airside efficiency and inform management decisions.

Oversee Daily Airside Operations

• Supervise daily airside activities, ensuring efficient aircraft movements and ground handling processes.
• Optimize shift schedules and manpower allocation to manage peak times and minimize operational disruptions.

Compliance With Safety And Regulatory Standards

• Conduct regular safety audits and ensure that airside operations adhere to current safety regulations and industry standards.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols, and manage training programs to keep staff updated on compliance requirements.

Emergency Response And Incident Handling

• Develop and lead emergency response plans, coordinating with response teams and emergency services during incidents.
• Quickly address and resolve emergencies to minimize disruptions and ensure staff readiness for emergency situations.

Coordinate With Airlines And Ground Services

• Facilitate communication between the airport, airlines, and ground service providers to ensure smooth operational flow.
• Address and resolve any operational issues or special requests from airlines, ensuring adherence to airport procedures.

Monitor And Report On Airside Performance Metrics

• Track and report on key performance indicators such as aircraft movements, Safety Violations and preliminary investigation undertaken for incidents/accidents to assess airside operational efficiency.
• Analyse performance data and generate reports for senior management to support strategic decision-making.
