Job Purpose

Lead – Electronics is responsible for overseeing and managing all on‑site electronics systems and equipment, ensuring successful maintenance with high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency. The role leads the team, establishes operational policies, coordinates with stakeholders, and implements sustainable practices to optimize performance. It involves planning, coordinating, and executing preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance, ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise preventive and corrective maintenance activities for electronic systems, including radar, navigational aids, CCTV, and PA systems to maintain project continuity and operational efficiency.
  • Review and analyze reports on system uptime, equipment breakdowns, and spare availability to identify improvement areas and adjust maintenance strategies.
  • Oversee corrective and emergency repairs to minimize system downtime.
  • Conduct fault diagnosis and root‑cause analysis for electronic equipment failures.
  • Implement solutions to improve reliability and performance of electronic systems.
  • Lead initiatives to reduce energy consumption and enhance sustainability in line with project goals.
  • Promote best practices such as 5S and Kaizen principles, encouraging environmentally conscious practices across the team.
  • Coordinate with vendors for procurement, repair, or replacement of electronic components.
  • Manage spare parts inventory to ensure availability for critical systems.
  • Define and communicate team objectives, operational policies, and standard procedures.
  • Assess the team’s strengths and areas for improvement, aligning individual strengths with project needs.
  • Oversee training and development programs to keep the team proficient in latest technologies and safety protocols.
  • Act as the primary liaison between the project team and external stakeholders, ensuring timely communication of requirements and updates.
  • Lead regular stakeholder meetings, addressing challenges and facilitating solution‑driven discussions to resolve issues swiftly.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols at every project stage and conduct on‑site safety inspections.
  • Conduct periodic safety audits, implement corrective actions, and promote a safety‑first culture.

Qualifications

  • Work Experience: 10+ years in electronics/electrical engineering with power systems up to 33 KV, HVAC up to 5010 TR, PBB, BHS; at least 6 recent years in airport infrastructure or large‑scale infrastructure projects.
