Job summary

Vodafone Idea Limited in Lucknow invites a skilled telecom professional to oversee FDD/BSC/RNC/TDD/MIMO, MW deployment, dismantling, and reverse logistics within Networks. The role emphasizes end-to-end project management, vendor coordination, and timely rollout across sites and technologies.

You will support ground teams with troubleshooting, coordinate with circle SCM, vendors, and IP teams, and ensure governance and MIS reporting.

Qualifications

• B.Tech in Electrical/ Electronics and Telecommunications or Computer Science.
• 3+ years of experience in the telecom field.
• Hands-on with active telecom equipment and multi-vendor coordination.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with vendors and teams for timely equipment delivery.
• Plan and roll out sites/technologies per project plans and ensure rollout.
• Ensure RFAI for deployment and track rollout pace.
• Manage dismantling and reverse logistics of materials.
• Provide ground support during troubleshooting and end-to-end TX PM.
• Governance with stakeholders and maintain Project MIS reports.
• Inventory management and PO closure.
• Hands on with Huawei, ZTE, Ceagon MW deployment.
• IP radio knowledge and bandwidth provisioning for 2G/3G/4G.

Job description

In the highly competitive telecom business, Technology is the key differentiator of customer satisfaction. This role will be accountable for FDD/BSC/RNC/TDD/MIMO/Small cell/MW/Dismantling/Reverse Logistics/Opex calculation/NSS rollout completion and consolidation in Networks.

Key Result Areas/Accountabilities

• Coordinating with the Equipment Vendor, Circle SCM and other relevant teams for the timely delivery of the Equipment .
• Coordinating with all stake holders for creating the Project implementation plans and then ensuring timely Rollout of all the sites/technologies as per the plans
• Coordination with IP Relationship team to ensure timely RFAI for deployment
• Tracking the Rollout pace and making required resolutions, corrective actions/escalations as and when required
• Conduct Rollout Governance with all Stake holders periodically and maintain the integrity of Project MIS reports
• Fresh Inventory management, Utilization, Capitalization and PO Closure
• Must handle MW Deployment, Traffic shifting.
• Hands on Experience on Huawei, ZTE , Ceagon MW.
• IP radio knowledge, Bandwidth provisioning for 2G, 3G and 4G, IP & Vlan Planning for 2G, 3G, 4G Network layers.
• Provide technical support to ground team during trouble shooting
• E2E TX Project management which includes – server visibility/SNOC handover/OnM AT and Traffic shifting

Dismantling and Reverse Logistics

• Project Management of Dismantling and Reverse Logistics for timely distribution of reuse material to Inter Circle and Intra Circle
• Coordination between Circle planning , Circle SCM teams for provisioning of warehouse space for storing SRN materials
• Coordination with SCM, IP Relationship and Vendors for the smooth conduct of dismantling, reverse logistics and all related documentation.
• Custodian for the safety, security and damage prevention of the dismantled material
• Conduct Project Governance with all Stake holders periodically and maintain the integrity of Project MIS reports
• HSW Compliance as per VIL Norms

Core Competencies, Knowledge, Experience

• Good product knowledge on telecom active equipment’s
• Highly logic driven approach, Confident attitude blended with excellent co-ordination skills & end to end knowledge of RAN & MW.
• Proven hands-on knowledge of individually implementation of Network related Electronics
• Basic Design & planning understanding to interact with OEM & planning team
• Capability of handling large vendor team and multi-vendor interaction.

Must have technical / professional qualifications

B-Tech Electrical / Electronics and Telecommunications or Computer Science Engineering with 3+ years of experience in the similar field
