Confidential is seeking a Finance & Tax Compliance professional in Hyderabad to manage end-to-end direct and indirect tax compliance, accounting closures, and MIS reporting. You will work with auditors and consultants, ensuring adherence to deadlines and accurate documentation.

You will utilize Tally and MS Office to prepare data for management decisions and support strong governance through robust controls and compliance checklists.

Formación

• Working knowledge of Income Tax, GST and TDS laws, plus awareness of amendments.

Responsabilidades

• Direct & indirect Tax Compliance: Own end-to-end compliance under Income Tax, GST and TDS with computations, return filings and deadlines.
• Accounting & Book Closure: Maintain books in Tally and support month-end/year-end closing and auditor requests.
• MIS & Reporting: Prepare monthly MIS with P&L variances and compliance status; provide data to management.
• Internal Controls & Governance: Assist in internal controls and compliance checklists; track calendar for full compliance.

Role & responsibilities

1. Direct & indirect Tax Compliance

• Own end-to-end compliance under Income Tax, GST and TDS: computations, return filings and statutory deadlines
• Carry out periodic reconciliations (GSTR-2B vs. books, Form 26AS/AIS vs. books, TDS payable vs. deposited)
• Draft responses to tax notices, assessments and departmental queries, and coordinate with consultants and authorities

2. Accounting & Book Closure

• Maintain accurate books of accounts in Tally, ensuring correct classification and complete documentation
• Support timely month-end and year-end closure, including ledger scrutiny
• Assist statutory, internal and tax auditors with information requests

3. MIS & Reporting

• Prepare monthly MIS covering P&L, key variances and compliance status
• Provide timely, accurate data to support management decisions

4. Internal Controls & Governance

• Assist in designing / implementing internal controls and compliance checklists
• Track the statutory compliance calendar to make ensure full compliance
