Job summary

MSKA & Associates in Gurugram seeks an experienced Assurance professional for testing, vouching and document work papers. You will support engagement managers, supervise article staff and act as the client SPOC for data flow and coordination.

The ideal candidate holds a CA with 3–5 years of Assurance experience, excellent English, and strong knowledge of Ind AS and accounting standards. On-site work with client and team management is expected.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience into Assurance
• Strong proficiency in English both written and oral
• Excellent knowledge of Assurance and accounting standards, including Ind AS
• Strong proficiency with Excel and spreadsheets, understanding accounting/ Assurance concepts
• Relevant article ship experience, primarily in Assurance
• On-site experience in Assurance with client and team management
• Experience reviewing financial statements and compiling Assurance reports
• Knowledge of Assurance documentation and preparing work papers

Responsibilities

• Perform testing procedures including substantive and controls testing, vouching, verification, etc.
• Provide necessary support to the team manager on Assurance engagement formalities; handle areas and work allocated
• Prepare Assurance work papers and ensure compliance with firm policies, procedures and regulatory requirements
• Manage and supervise junior team members including article staff
• Act as a SPOC for the team with the client in terms of data flow, communication, coordination and discussions
• Coordinate with internal and external teams including client personnel for information/data; support standardization of processes and research solutions
• Support the team manager in project management, status updates, compiling requirements lists, etc.
• Participate in meetings with various teams and contribute to assigned areas
• Understand business/industry issues and ensure timely delivery of working papers per timelines; ensure engagement plans and internal quality/risk management

Role & responsibilities
