Job summary

Optum India is seeking a senior Finance leader to drive financial controllership, operational excellence, stakeholder engagement and digital transformation across enterprise finance functions. You will build talent, lead cross-functional teams and shape sound financial decisions.

You will oversee month-end close, ensure compliance with US GAAP, IFRS and SOX, and partner with senior leaders to deliver governance, risk management and compelling financial storytelling across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Finance/Accounting/Commerce.
• MBA, CA, CPA, CMA, and ACCA.
• 12+ years of Finance & Accounting experience.
• 5+ years leading large global teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end, quarter-end and year-end close
• Review complex journal entries, accruals and adjustments
• Ensure compliance with US GAAP, IFRS and SOX
• Drive balance sheet integrity and financial statement reviews
• Perform variance analysis, financial storytelling and risk management
• Lead managers, team leads and accountants
• Develop succession plans and coaching programs
• Drive engagement, retention and capability building
• Promote a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
• Partner with Controllers, Directors and Business Leaders
• Lead governance reviews and executive presentations
• Manage escalations and strengthen stakeholder satisfaction
• Collaborate with Audit, Tax, Treasury, HR and IT teams
