Job summary

Sun Pharma in Halol-I is seeking a Senior Executive in Quality to lead stability and finished product testing. You will perform analyses, ensure instrument calibration, and maintain compliant documentation.

With MSc and 8+ years in analytical pharma, you will follow GLP/GDP, prepare mobile phases, monitor lab conditions, and contribute to continuous improvement while collaborating with the team.

Qualifications

• MSc in a relevant analytical chemistry field.
• 8+ years of experience in pharmaceutical QC.
• Experience in stability testing and finished product analysis.
• Proficiency with HPLC and instrument calibration.

Responsibilities

• Analyze stability and finished product samples as per work plan; perform online reporting and documentation.
• Check instrument calibration status and validate before use; calibrate instruments as required.
• Follow ATP, Instructions, and SOP procedures during analysis.
• Maintain cleanliness of instruments and surrounding area during/after analysis.
• Store working standards, reference standards, impurities, and reagents properly after use.
• Maintain reconciliation sheets for stability, finished, and process validation samples.
• Prepare mobile phase, degas, and filter per HPLC procedures.
• Verify results against approved specifications; report anomalies to supervisor.
• Provide glassware trays for washing after results confirmation; prepare deactivating solutions for cytotoxic handling.
• Follow safety procedures: gloves, mask, safety glasses; wear apron and safety shoes in the lab.
• Adhere to GLP and GDP procedures.
• Carry out additional duties as assigned by supervisor/manager.
• Monitor laboratory temperature and humidity.
• Perform water analysis of purified water, water for injection, raw water, and clean steam.

Job Description:

1. 1. To perform the analysis of Stability and Finished product samples as per the work planning given and do their online reporting and documentation like calculation, logbook entries etc. (For Physical testing).
2. 2. To check the calibration status of the instrument and validity before use or perform the instrument calibration as when required.
3. 3. Follow the ATP procedure, Instructions and SOP procedure while performing the analysis.
4. 4. To keep the instrument and surrounding area clean during and after the analysis.
5. 5. To keep the Working standards, Reference standards, Impurity standards, Sample solutions, Chemicals, Reagents, Specification, ATP, etc. to the designated place after use.
6. 6. To maintain reconciliation sheet for stability, finished and process validation samples.
7. 7. To prepare the mobile phase, degassed it and filter before use as per the HPLC procedure.
8. 8. To verify the generated results against the given approved specification and inform to cell leader or supervisor for any odd observation, OOS, OOT and Lab Event.
9. 9. To give Glassware tray which are used in analysis for washing after confirmation of results. To prepare Deactivating solution while handling the cytotoxic material and deactivate the glassware and solutions.
10. 10. Follow the Safety procedures like Wear hand gloves, mask and safety glasses during analysis.
11. 11. Always wear Apron and safety shoes in the lab during analysis.
12. 12. Follow the GLP and GDP procedures.
13. 13. Tejaswini Chauhan is also responsible for carrying out any other responsibilities assigned from time to time orally or in writing.
14. 14. She is also responsible for monitoring of the temperature and humidity in laboratory.
15. 15. Water analysis of Purified water, Water for injection, raw water, clean steam (pH, conductivity, Nitrate and oxidizable test).
