Job summary

Birla Carbon in Mumbai is seeking a Manager to assist in the preparation and review of IFRS-compliant financial statements and to support month-end and year-end closing activities. The role involves accounting reconciliations, researching IFRS standards, and preparing accounting position papers.

Responsibilities include coordinating with auditors and internal finance teams, maintaining documentation, and driving process improvements and automation of reporting activities in line with IAS/IFRS

Qualifications

• Experience in IFRS-compliant financial statements preparation/review (IFRS 9, IFRS 15, IFRS 16, IAS 12, IAS 36, IAS 37).
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Conduct accounting reconciliations and investigate variances.
• Research IFRS standards and prepare accounting position papers.
• Assist with IFRS adjustments and reporting packages.
• Coordinate with auditors and internal finance teams.
• Maintain supporting documentation and ensure compliance with accounting policies.
• Assist with process improvements and automation of reporting activities.
