Job summary

Mahindra and Mahindra Limited in India seeks a senior Project Manager to drive multi-disciplinary initiatives across automotive and farm equipment. You will own the master plan, manage budgets, resources, risks and delivery timelines with cross-functional teams.

The role requires strong communication and governance skills, leading gateway reviews and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure on-time project clearance and successful execution.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare Master Project Plan with activity lists, resource and budget plans, and communicate to CFT.
  • Track gateways, chart activities, identify critical path and resources.
  • Lead and facilitate Gateway reviews with Quality planning & CFT for on time clearance.
  • Coordinate with internal/external agencies for project ratings assessment.
  • Support PM/PM-Lead and DH on resource availability and process flow.
  • Conduct Weekly CFT reviews and management reviews per schedule.
  • Monitor and track budget, cost, quality and delivery timelines; escalate gaps.
  • Coordinate with Plant manufacturing for aggregate build and stakeholder resolution.
  • Resolve conflicts between CFT for smooth project execution.
  • Perform risk analysis and mitigation with proactive risk flagging and plans.
  • Manage PMO activities.

Job Description:

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

1. Preparing Master Project Plan with list of related system level & functional level activities, work package plan, resource plan, budget plan and communicates to CFT members to ensure TCP of the project.

2. Gateway tracking - Prepare / work out activity charts with dependent activities and work out efficient path identify critical path critical activity and resources.

3. Take lead and facilitate Gateway reviews with Quality planning & CFT for on time Gateway clearance

4. Co-ordinate with internal/ external agencies for Composite project ratings assessment of the projects.

5. Support PM / PM-Lead and DH on resource availability and facilitate & drive the process flow for project work.

6. Conduct Weekly CFT reviews and facilitate management reviews as per schedule.

7. Prepare, Monitor & Track Budget, Cost , Quality and delivery Timeline of the project and escalated the discrepancies to the superiors with probable solutions.

8. Coordinate with Plant manufacturing team for aggregate build, Concerns resolution through continuous co-ordination with stakeholders.

9. Conflict resolution between CFT for smooth project execution

10. Risk analysis and mitigation. Proactive role in flagging the potential risk areas and ensuring that a mitigation plan is made available

11. Manage PMO Activities
