Job summary

Kuku, an AI-native micro drama studio in Mumbai, seeks a Management Trainee – Content AI who loves content and AI tools. You will work hands-on daily, producing end-to-end content from scripts to finished outputs, using AI platforms to create engaging episodes.

You'll own the production loop across image generation, video, voiceovers, and edits, experiment with prompts, and build scalable systems. This is a growth-focused role in a fast-evolving industry.

What Kuku Is Building

We're building an AI-native micro drama studio from scratch. Think full episodes, real stories, emotionally engaging shows — made using AI, not a traditional film crew. Our goal is content that millions of people in India and globally actually binge-watch. This is a 0→1 role. You won't be a cog in a machine. You'll help build the machine.

What You'll Actually Do

• Spend serious time on tools — this is a hands-on, heads-down role. You'll be on AI platforms daily, producing end-to-end content: from raw script to finished, watchable output
• Own the full production loop — image generation, video creation, voiceovers, editing passes — using AI tools to bring episodes to life.
• Experiment constantly with prompts, workflows, and new tools to improve quality and output speed
• Build repeatable systems so great content can be produced consistently at scale
• Work directly with editors, content producers, and promo producers — some of the best creative minds in the business — to shape content that's both high quality and platform-ready
• Collaborate with business leaders to ensure content drives real outcomes — viewership, retention, and revenue
• Stay ahead of what's new in the AI content space and bring it to the team before anyone else does

This Role Is NOT For You If

• You want to just ideate and delegate the doing
• You're uncomfortable spending long hours experimenting on tools with no guaranteed outcome
• You need a clear playbook — we’re writing it as we go

You're Probably a Fit If...

• You spend a lot of time watching movies, shows, anime, reels — and think about why some content just works
• You've played around with tools like ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, ElevenLabs, Runway, Midjourney, or similar — even just for fun
• You don't wait to be taught. You open a new tool and figure it out.
• You've made anything — a short film, a YouTube video, a meme page, a college event. Output matters more than polish.
• You think from first principles — "why does this work?" not just "how do I do this?"

Bonus Points If You Have

• Made content for college fests, film clubs, competitions, or just for yourself
• Led a team, event, or initiative — anything that required getting people and moving parts organised
• Some familiarity with prompt engineering concepts (chaining, versioning, etc.) — even self-taught
