Job summary

MG Makeovers in India is seeking a makeup artist to create bridal, party and editorial looks from the first consultation to final touch-up in our studio. You will work with our hair and beauty team in HD, airbrush and traditional techniques, ensuring the look comes together with the overall styling.

You will travel for on-location bookings in Delhi NCR, manage detailed consultations and trials, and advise clients on the best options while upholding hygiene standards in a busy studio environment.

Qualifications

• Certificate or diploma in makeup artistry or equivalent training.
• 2+ years of pro experience with bridal, party and event looks.
• Expertise in HD and airbrush makeup, colour matching and skin prep.

• Create makeup looks for weddings, engagements, parties, photoshoots and events.
• Tailor looks to skin tone, features and outfit in daylight and camera light.
• Apply base, contour, eyes and lips in HD, airbrush and traditional finishes.
• Design creative or theatrical looks for special shoots using advanced techniques.
• Run consultations and trials, and advise clients on what will suit them.
• Recommend MG Makeovers products and services that genuinely fit the client's needs.
• Work with hairstylists and photographers so the hair, makeup and drape read as one look.
• Keep your station, brushes and kit clean and sanitised to our hygiene standards.

Create bridal, party and editorial looks for MG Makeovers clients, from the first consultation to the final touch-up. You will work in HD, airbrush and traditional techniques alongside our hair and beauty team, in a studio that does 200+ bridal makeovers a year.

Responsibilities

• Create makeup looks for weddings, engagements, parties, photoshoots and events
• Tailor every look to the client's skin tone, features and outfit, in daylight and camera light
• Apply the full range expertly, base, contour, eyes and lips, in HD, airbrush and traditional finishes
• Design creative or theatrical looks for special shoots using advanced techniques
• Run detailed consultations and trials, and advise clients on what will suit them
• Recommend MG Makeovers products and services that genuinely fit the client's needs
• Work with hairstylists and photographers so the hair, makeup and drape read as one look
• Keep your station, brushes and kit clean and sanitised to our hygiene standards

Requirements

• A certificate or diploma in makeup artistry, or equivalent professional training
• 2+ years of professional experience with a portfolio across bridal, party and event looks
• Expertise in HD and airbrush application, colour matching and skin prep
• Clear, warm communication with clients before, during and after the session
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a bridal team, including long wedding days
• Willing to travel for on-location bookings in Delhi NCR
