Job summary

Matrix Robotics is seeking a Utility Operator to support operation, monitoring, and basic maintenance of utility equipment and systems in Koregaon Bheema. The role involves following SOPs, recording readings, and assisting the Utility/Maintenance team to ensure smooth plant operations.

The candidate should have ITI in relevant trade and 1–2 years of experience in utility or industrial plant operations, be willing to work in rotational shifts, and adhere to safety and 5S practices.

Qualifications

• ITI Fitter with 1–2 years of experience in utility, maintenance, manufacturing, or industrial plant operations.
• Knowledge of 5S and safety is beneficial.
• Willingness to work in rotating shifts.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor utility equipment per SOPs.
• Assist operation of compressors, pumps, chillers, DG sets, HVAC systems and other utility equipment.
• Check parameters like pressure, temperature, current and water level.
• Carry out routine inspection and identify abnormalities.
• Assist maintenance technicians during preventive and breakdown maintenance.
• Maintain utility area cleanliness and follow 5S practices.
• Record equipment readings and maintain daily utility logs.
• Follow safety procedures (LOTO, PPE) and report issues to supervisor.
• Ensure safe housekeeping and proper utility area conditions.

Job Summary

We are looking for a Utility Operator / Utility Helper to support the operation, monitoring, and basic maintenance of utility equipment and systems. The candidate will assist the Utility/Maintenance team in ensuring smooth and uninterrupted plant operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor utility equipment as per standard operating procedures.
• Assist in operation of compressors, pumps, chillers, cooling towers, DG sets, HVAC systems, and other utility equipment.
• Check equipment parameters such as pressure, temperature, current, water level, etc.
• Carry out routine inspection and identify abnormalities in utility equipment.
• Assist maintenance technicians during preventive and breakdown maintenance.
• Maintain utility area cleanliness and follow 5S practices.
• Record equipment readings and maintain daily utility log sheets.
• Check water, air, electrical and other utility supply as required.
• Support minor mechanical/electrical activities under supervision.
• Follow LOTO, PPE and all safety procedures while working.
• Report equipment abnormalities, leakage, unusual noise, vibration or breakdowns to the supervisor.
• Ensure proper housekeeping and safe working conditions in the utility area.
• Perform other utility-related duties assigned by the supervisor.
