Job summary

Medipulse Hospital is seeking a Maintenance Executive/Technician to ensure proper functioning and upkeep of hospital infrastructure, equipment, and utilities. The role focuses on safe environments for patients and staff while complying with NABH guidelines.

The candidate should have a high school diploma or ITI/Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering with up to 3 years of maintenance experience in a hospital or similar setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or ITI/Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering (preferred).
• 0-3 years of experience in hospital/facility maintenance or similar environment.
• Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and civil systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, routine, and corrective maintenance of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical equipment, generators, air conditioners, water pumps, and other facility systems.
• Maintain hospital infrastructure including doors, windows, lifts, and other civil structures.
• Monitor emergency systems such as fire alarms, emergency lighting, and backup power.
• Coordinate with vendors for specialized repairs, installations, and maintenance contracts.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts, tools, and maintenance supplies.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from hospital departments.
• Ensure compliance with hospital safety protocols, fire safety, and NABH standards.
• Maintain maintenance logs, records, and reports for management review.
• Support hospital during audits, inspections, and emergency drills.

• Key Responsibilities
