Job summary

Regenix Biosciences Ltd. is seeking a Trainee Engineer/Executive engineer & Senior Executive for the Engineering/Utilities department.

The role involves ensuring cGMP compliance, planning and performing maintenance and calibration across HVAC, utilities, electrical, and DG systems for biotech plants. You will coordinate calibration activities with third-party suppliers and QA, supervise on-site mechanical, electrical and plumbing work, and inspect installations for safety and regulatory

Responsibilities

  • Adhere to cGMP principles and maintain them effectively.
  • Plan, perform maintenance and calibration for HVAC, utilities, electrical and DG for biotech plants.
  • Coordinate with third-party suppliers and QA for calibration activities.
  • Supervise site works for mechanical, electrical and plumbing on project/maintenance of equipment.
  • Inspect installations against drawings, safety rules and codes under Quality & Safety controls.
  • Troubleshoot on-site issues promptly to keep project/operation on schedule.
  • Oversee planned and breakdown maintenance using CMMS/QMS.

Reporting to: Executive

A) Summary of the Responsibilities:
  • 1To adhere with the cGMP principles and to maintain them in an effective manner.
  • 2To Plan/Perform all the maintenance & calibration related activities for HVAC, Utilities, Electrical, & DG with respect to Biotech Plants, as per priority.
  • 3To facilitate and co-ordinate the Qualification activities with Third party suppliers and Quality Assurance Department.
  • 4To supervise the site works by direct daily mechanical, electrical, and plumbing work on project / maintenance of all equipments in the facility.
  • 5To Inspect installations to verify they match approved drawings, safety rules, and building codes, under Quality & Safety Control aspects.
  • 6To attend the Troubleshoot & Resolve technical issues on-site quickly to keep the project / operation on schedule.
  • 7Oversee planned and breakdown maintenance using Computerized Maintenance Management / Quality Management systems (QMS)
B) Detail of the Responsibilities:
  • 1 For Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing (MEP): -
    • a) To Plan, Schedule & execute Calibration of instruments in Process Equipment, HVAC, Utilities, QC.
    • b) To Coordinate with supplier for Calibration of instruments in Process Equipment, HVAC, Clean Utilities, Micro, QC and all other supportive departments.
    • c) To coordinate & execute of all Third-Party Calibration and Documentation.
    • d) To support/prepare of SOPs with respect to Calibration, System and operating SOPs.
    • e) To coordinate/execute the technical jobs related to Deviation, Change Control, CAPA.
    • f) To prepare/verify all calibration reports and update the calibration labels on the Instruments.
  • 2 To coordinate with the following daily general shift activities: -
    • a) All PR/PO follow up along with advance payment & delivery of the same,
    • b) Updating the open status of maintenance notifications,
    • c) Follow up with Internal stake holders / External service providers for open notifications.
    • d) Availing quotes based on required spares/service & Updating Spares based PM/BM,
    • e) Internal stake holders/ third party services & contracts,
    • f) Site visit & coordination with suppliers for corrective action or Inspection report,
    • g) Self-evaluation based on inspection review with amendment of corrective action,
    • h) Forecasting the dead level of raw water quantity
    • i) Pre-ordering water, based on delivery delays from the supplier.
    • j) Forecasting the DG operation and maintaining its fuel reserve quantity
    • k) Verifying & maintaining the effectiveness of interlocks and CCTV functionalities as a weekly log.
