Job summary

Kyndryl is seeking a Senior System Administrator (Mainframe z/OS) in Bengaluru to design, implement, and maintain enterprise-class storage solutions. You will lead DFSMS governance, manage DASD capacity, and ensure data lifecycle management with high availability and disaster recovery.

You will collaborate with security, application, and vendor teams while mentoring junior engineers and driving storage modernization across the data center.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Mainframe z/OS system programming.
• Hands-on expertise in z/OS installation and maintenance.
• Experience with PTFs, DR drills, and license keys updates.
• Knowledge of GDPS and z16/z17 hardware considerations.
• Willingness to provide 24/7 on-call support.
