Job summary

Infinite Computer Solutions in Chennai, India seeks an experienced Mainframe Tester to validate complex COBOL-based applications and conduct end-to-end testing. You will design test cases, verify data with Db2 for z/OS, and ensure quality across CICS online transactions and batch processes. Qualifications

• Extensive experience in Mainframe Testing across various projects.
• Strong hands-on COBOL for analyzing, validating, and testing business logic.
• Proficient in JCL for batch job execution, scheduling, debugging, and validation.
• Experience with CICS for online transaction processing and testing of interactive mainframe applications.
• Knowledge of IBM MQ for message-based integration and end-to-end testing.
• Hands-on experience with Db2 for z/OS including SQL validation, data verification, and backend testing.
• Skilled in test case design, execution, defect tracking, regression testing, integration testing, and production support activities.
• Ability to analyze requirements, validate data flows, and ensure application quality in complex mainframe environments.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute test cases for mainframe applications.
• Track defects and drive resolution through to closure.
• Perform regression and integration testing across modules.
• Coordinate with development teams to ensure high-quality releases.
• Provide production support and troubleshooting as needed.
