Job summary

Epam Systems in Hyderabad, India seeks a seasoned Mainframe Analyst to lead complex analysis of legacy systems and drive modernization initiatives. You will work with z/OS, COBOL, CICS, IMS, DB2, PL/I and related tooling, assessing patterns and guiding remediation with cross-functional teams.

The role requires 10+ years in enterprise mainframe tech, 5+ years in application analysis and reverse engineering, plus a bachelor’s in engineering.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in enterprise mainframe technologies with 5+ years focused on application analysis and reverse engineering.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• Deep IBM Z knowledge; knowledge of modernization approaches; familiarity with AWS, Azure, Google Cloud; Mainframe SCM, AI usage experience with Mainframe Code
• Knowledge of IBM, SCM Tools, Scheduler Tools, Monitoring Tools, Debugger on Mainframe

• Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with customer Tech SME, tools team and Technical Leadership across client and EPAM organisation
• Governance & Risk: Ensure compliance with enterprise standards, security policies, and regulatory requirements specific to the customer applications
