Job summary

Shashwath Solution seeks an experienced mainframe specialist with 6+ years of expertise in Cobol, JCL, and DB2 to join our delivery team. Candidates with Java exposure will be preferred.

You will work on production support, development tasks, and participate in the full SDLC within AGILE projects, using industry-standard tools like ENDEVOR, QMF, SPUFI, and Selcopy.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of mainframe experience with Cobol, JCL, DB2 and stored procedures.
• Java experience preferred.
• Hands-on with IBM File Manager for DB2, MVS, Move for DB2, BMC tools, IBM Debug Tool, ENDEVOR, QMF, SPUFI, Selcopy.
• Experience in Application Production Support and Development activities.
• Familiar with SDLC/Operational framework and AGILE methodologies.
• Exposure to ITPM and IT Security controls.

Responsibilities

• Provide production support and development activities in mainframe environments.
• Participate in full software development life cycle and Agile processes.
