Job summary

Consult Asia in Bengaluru is seeking an experienced Mainframe Developer to design, develop, and maintain CICS/COBOL applications across batch and online processing environments.

You will troubleshoot DB2/JCL/CICS issues, support releases, perform RCA, and coordinate with stakeholders while contributing to Agile delivery in a healthcare domain.

Qualifications

• 6–11 years in Mainframe development with 5+ years in CICS development.
• Strong knowledge of COBOL, JCL, DB2, VSAM, z/OS, batch processing, debugging and production support.
• Healthcare domain experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain CICS/COBOL mainframe applications.
• Handle batch and online processing and troubleshoot DB2/JCL/CICS issues.
• Support releases and perform root cause analysis (RCA).
• Coordinate with stakeholders and participate in Agile delivery.
