Job summary

Purview Services in Mumbai seeks a Mainframe Db2 z/OS DBA / Replication Engineer with hands-on Db2 administration, utilities, backup/recovery, performance tuning, SQL and production support.

Experience with replication technologies such as QREP, CDC, DPROP, CDA, plus JCL, TSO/ISPF, SDSF and mainframe troubleshooting is required; Python/REXX/USS scripting, REST APIs, z/OS Connect and z/OSMF are preferred; 24x7 on-call support and cross-functional collaboration are part of the role.

Qualifications

• Mainframe Db2 z/OS DBA with hands-on Db2 administration, utilities and backup/recovery.
• Strong experience in performance tuning, SQL and production support.
• Replication technologies like QREP, CDC, DPROP, CDA are required.

Responsibilities

• 1) Mainframe Db2 z/OS DBA / Replication Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Db2 administration, utilities, backup/recovery, performance tuning, SQL, and production support.
• 2) Key requirement is replication technologies - QREP, CDC, DPROP, CDA, along with JCL, TSO/ISPF, SDSF and mainframe troubleshooting.
• 3) Experience in Python/REXX/USS scripting, REST APIs, z/OS Connect, z/OSMF, security, automation, and Db2 modernization is preferred.
• 4) 24x7 on-call support and strong cross-functional troubleshooting skills are required.
