Job summary

DXC Technology Company in India is seeking a System Analyst/Admin specialized in Mainframe CICS. The role covers planning, coordinating, installing, implementing and testing releases, upgrades, or changes to CICS and related ISV products, with direct on-call support for critical environments.

The incumbent will upgrade/install and migrate CICS Transaction servers, support IBM and ISV tools such as Abend/aid, TMON/CICS, Omegamon for CICS, and assist in disaster recovery planning and testing while

Responsibilities

• Act as Subject matter expert providing direct technical support for planning, coordination, installation, implementation and testing of releases, upgrades, or changes to CICS and related ISV products.
• Capable of upgrading/installing and migrating CICS Transaction servers.
• Capable of upgrading/installing and supporting IBM & ISV products such as Compuware Abend/aid, ASG TMON/CICS, Omegamon for CICS, BMC Mainview, Xpediter/CICS, CA ACF2/CICS, CA Intertest, CA Symdump.
• Provide primary on-call support for CICS and associated ISV products.
• Diagnose CICS system and related product issues and perform root cause analysis.
• Participate in Disaster Recovery planning and tests.

• Primary on call support for CICS and associated ISV products for eg : Compuware Abend/aid , ASG TMON/CICS. Omegamon for CICS, BMC Mainview, Compuware Xpediter/CICS, CA ACF2/CICS, CA Intertest, CA Symdump.
• Diagnose CICS system and related product issues and follow up with root cause analysis
• Participate in Disaster Recovery planning and tests as scheduled
• Knowledge about the CICS functionality and architecture
