Job summary

Tata Technologies Ltd. is seeking a Machine Safety Engineer in India to design, commission, and operate safety systems across production lines, robots, conveyors, and automation.

You will ensure compliance with international safety standards and lead safety validation activities for complex automated equipment. Ideal candidates have 5–12 years in industrial automation or robotics, with hands-on experience in automotive or battery manufacturing environments.

Qualifications

• 5-12 years in Industrial Automation / Robotics / Manufacturing Engineering.
• Experience with automotive, battery, or process manufacturing plants is highly preferred.
• BE/B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Mechatronics, or Automation.

Responsibilities

• Define required Performance Level (PL) or SIL.
• Design safety architecture and safety circuits.
• Configure and validate safety PLCs.
• Verify robot, conveyor, AGV, and machine safety functions.
• Execute Safety FAT, SAT, and commissioning.
• Ensure compliance with customer and regulatory standards.

Primary Responsibility

Ensure machines, production lines, robots, conveyors, AGVs, and automated systems are designed, commissioned, and operated safely while complying with international safety standards.
